Sprout Family closes C$3.55m seed to expand employee family benefits

BDC’s Thrive Venture Fund led the round for the Toronto platform.

Sprout Family announced a C$3.55 million seed round on October 15. BDC’s Thrive Venture Fund led, joined by Accelia Capital, MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund, StandUp Ventures and The51.

The company will expand beyond fertility support into pregnancy, postpartum, parental leave and return to work. It also plans to grow its team and deepen insurance and benefits partnerships.
