Souuthe wins £75,000 Innovate UK grant for calming care technology
The Women in Innovation award supports a tactile product being developed for dementia and end-of-life care.
Comfort alongside care
Souuthe places calming technology inside familiar soft objects, including cushions and toys. Founder Lou Willis-Keeler adapted the idea for care settings after her experience supporting relatives.
The award also includes a year of mentoring, training and networking support. Souuthe is one of 61 grant recipients selected from 1,590 applicants to the programme.
