Souuthe

United Kingdom · Healthtech

Souuthe develops tactile calming products for people experiencing distress in dementia and palliative-care settings.

Comfort in familiar objects

Its technology fits into soft objects such as cushions and toys. Gentle, rhythmic contact is intended to give someone a reassuring physical sensation when verbal reassurance is difficult.

The product remains in development. Clinical testing is planned to establish how it can support care, alongside existing treatment.

From care experience to development

Founder Lou Willis-Keeler began adapting the concept for dementia and end-of-life settings after caring for relatives. The Saltburn-by-the-Sea company is preparing a path towards trials with hospices and NHS organisations.
