Solarfix secures £1.5 million for UK and Ireland expansion
Equity and debt backing supports solar installations and integrated energy systems for homes and businesses.
Solarfix announced a £1.5 million funding package on December 3, 2024, following a management buyout by Michael O’Donnell.
The package combines equity from the Whiterock Growth Capital Fund and debt from the Investment Fund for Northern Ireland. The allocation between the two instruments was not disclosed.
The Northern Ireland company plans to expand its commercial offering across the UK and Ireland. Its installations combine solar generation with options including battery storage, electric-vehicle charging and controls for using surplus electricity.
