Skyfly closes $10 million seed round for electric aircraft
HICO Investment Group led the seed round, with Archangel Ventures participating.
The funding follows more than 100 prototype flights for the two-seat Axe. Skyfly is pursuing the US Light Sport Aircraft route to move from experimental flying into customer aircraft.
The company plans first deliveries in 2027. Alongside the civilian programme, its Longbow project adapts the platform to unmanned missions using hybrid propulsion.
