Scooter announces ₹1.5 crore pre-seed funding for sales recruitment
The AJVC-backed company disclosed an April close after placing 18 sales hires and expanding its customer base.
An announcement after the first hires
Scooter closed the round in April and waited until October to announce it. By then, the founders said they had placed 18 salespeople and were serving more than 50 companies, including 14 added in recent months.
The backing marks AJVC’s first investment in a Pune startup. Scooter brings together Kartik Mandrekar’s experience running sales teams and Saumya Seth’s background in behavioural science to help founders evaluate sellers before making a hire.
Use of funds
Improve the product for sourcing, assessing and shortlisting sales candidates.
