sci2sci raises €1.2m pre-seed for trusted AI in regulated industries
The Berlin startup is building data-governance infrastructure that connects fragmented life-sciences information and traces the evidence behind AI outputs.
Traceable data for life-sciences AI
sci2sci’s VectorCat platform connects information spread across lab notebooks, sequencing-file stores, spreadsheets, dashboards and external research systems while leaving it in place. It maps where data came from and how it was transformed, then links facts and relationships to their supporting evidence so teams can inspect the basis of an AI-generated answer.
The €1.2 million pre-seed will fund trusted AI infrastructure for regulated industries, with biopharma as the initial market. For life-sciences teams, the aim is to make disconnected research data usable for search and AI-assisted work while retaining the lineage and access controls needed to check results.
