Samson Sky receives $80M investment for Switchblade aircraft
Its Switchblade folds the wings and tail for driving, then deploys them for flight.
A vehicle designed for road and air
Samson Sky’s hybrid-electric Switchblade is built to travel on highways before transforming into an aircraft. The company says it has completed its first test flight and is continuing flight testing and production engineering as it works toward customer deliveries; owners can drive the vehicle to an airfield rather than keep a separate car there.
