Salience Labs raises $125m Series B for optical datacenter networking
Bullhound Capital leads the round, with AMD Ventures and Intel Capital joining after Salience demonstrated a 64-port photonic switch.
From a 64-port demonstration to larger switches
The financing follows Salience Labs’ live demonstration at ECOC 2026. The Oxford company is developing 128- and 256-port optical circuit switches as it targets connections between thousands of GPUs across multiple datacenter racks.
The round brings chip-industry investors into a syndicate of new and returning backers. Bullhound Capital principal Callum Stewart will join the board. Salience also identifies Keysight Technologies and Tower Semiconductor as partners in its path towards higher-volume deployment.
