Sainaptic raises £1m seed funding for AI-assisted assessment
The financing accompanies a Skilltech Solutions partnership to bring portfolio marking to apprenticeship assessment organisations.
A distribution route through assessment software
Skilltech will combine Sainaptic’s models with its assessment-delivery platform and relationships with apprenticeship assessment organisations. The initial joint offering will focus on portfolio evaluation across selected apprenticeship standards, with availability expected in the first quarter of 2027. Qualified assessors will retain the final decision.
Ufi Ventures said Sainaptic’s technology had already assessed more than two million descriptive answers. The investment also follows earlier Ufi grant support, giving the backer a role in the company’s move from funded innovation into wider commercial adoption.
