Rig Security emerges from stealth with $12M for identity protection
The platform tackles a growing blind spot: an AI agent can use an employee’s credentials while appearing in logs as that employee.
Separating the agent from the account
Rig maps accounts, permissions and trust relationships across enterprise systems. An optional endpoint sensor adds visibility into the activity behind a session, allowing a security team to block an agent’s risky action while preserving the employee’s legitimate access. The deployment starts with connections to existing systems; organizations can add the sensor where they need enforcement on the device.
New American Funding is among the customers named in the launch announcement, describing its use of the product to identify agents operating through employee accounts. The September disclosure makes earlier financing public: Calcalist reports that the seed round closed near the end of 2025.
What the funding supports
- Develop identity detection and enforcement
- Expand US go-to-market and partner channels
