Retham Technologies raises $1.5M seed for HITDx diagnostic
HITDx uses cryopreserved donor platelets to support practical functional testing in hospital laboratories.
A functional test for a complex platelet disorder
Retham is developing HITDx to help hospital laboratories assess heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, in which antibodies trigger platelet activation and raise the risk of dangerous clotting. The assay uses stable cryopreserved donor platelets, intended to make functional testing more accessible and consistent; Retham is moving the diagnostic through clinical validation and regulatory development. Its cryopreserved platelets are also available for research use.
