Profound raises $1.5m Seed as it launches professional AI representatives
Anuj Rathi and Prashant Parashar opened early access to a voice-led platform for networking and hiring.
Bengaluru-based Profound announced a $1.5 million Seed financing on August 4, 2026, alongside early access for its first group of users. Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital invested with technology founders and executives.
The angel participants included Sriharsha Majety, Nandan Reddy, Pankaj Chaddah, Harshil Mathur, WhatsApp executive Kunal Shah and Bhuvan Gupta. The startup planned to develop its matching and introductions engine before a wider beta rollout. Its ambition to reach one million professionals described a future network target, rather than the size of the initial cohort.
