Power Laser Technology raises about ¥1.2 billion in seed financing
The Osaka University spinout is developing high-energy, high-repetition laser sources for fusion research and space-debris monitoring.
Laser development for energy and space applications
Power Laser Technology is developing sources that combine substantial energy per pulse with rapid repetition. The company is investigating their use in laser-driven fusion and space situational awareness focused on small debris. Its research includes joint work with Osaka University's Institute of Laser Engineering and the Institute for Laser Technology as it advances toward application validation.
