Poseidon Aerospace raises $11M seed for unmanned cargo aircraft
Egret is a short-takeoff freighter; Heron is designed to operate as a seaplane.
Cargo access beyond major runways
Poseidon Aerospace is developing Egret, a fixed-wing aircraft for short takeoff and landing, and Heron, a seaplane. The unmanned aircraft can be remotely controlled or operated autonomously, and are designed to carry heavy cargo from dispersed airstrips, water and austere locations that conventional freighters may not serve.
The company targets commercial cargo operators and defense logistics teams. Its programs remain in development, with Poseidon planning flight testing after this financing.
