PetPact wins £75,000 grant to test routes through vets and insurers
The Innovate UK award supports Rachel Roche’s online service for arranging a pet’s future care.
Reaching owners through trusted providers
PetPact will use the Women in Innovation grant to explore how veterinary practices and insurers can help bring care planning to more pet owners. The award also includes a year of business support, training and networking.
Roche launched the service in 2025. It lets owners name a guardian and record instructions for their animals if illness, death or a relationship breakdown changes who can care for them. The owner and selected guardian sign the resulting document.
