Reaching intracellular targets

Helicons are stabilised peptides designed to penetrate cells and interact with proteins that conventional antibodies cannot reach. The lead candidate, zolucatetide, inhibits the interaction between beta-catenin and TCF proteins.

Clinical development

At the financing, zolucatetide was in a Phase 1/2 trial across several tumour types. Parabilis was preparing further development in desmoid tumours and evaluating combinations for more complex cancers.

Where the funding goes

  • Continue clinical development of zolucatetide, including work towards a registrational trial in desmoid tumours.
  • Advance prostate-cancer candidates and the Helicon discovery platform.
