OmniWallet closes €220,000 capital increase for international expansion

The Barcelona loyalty-software company is adding strategic shareholders after five years of developing its platform with customer revenue.

Strategic shareholders join a bootstrapped business

OmniWallet has closed a €220,000 capital increase with new strategic partners. The Barcelona company had spent five years developing its loyalty and customer-data platform by reinvesting revenue from customers.

Co-founder and chief executive Nicola Picasso said the new partners’ sector knowledge and commercial relationships were central to the transaction. Their involvement is intended to help identify opportunities and build alliances as the company expands.

Taking loyalty software into new markets

OmniWallet plans to expand in Italy and Portugal, followed by Latin American markets including Colombia, Chile, Panama and Ecuador. Product work will focus on automation, AI, analytics, personalisation and additional commerce integrations. Its software connects loyalty activity across physical and digital sales channels.
