OlsAro raises €5 million seed for climate-resilient cereals
Industrifonden and Nordic Foodtech VC lead the round.
OlsAro announced €5 million in seed funding on October 14. Industrifonden led, with Nordic Foodtech VC as co-lead; Future Food Fund, PINC, AgFunder and GU Ventures also participated.
Capital will support SeedAX development, international field trials and commercialization of the company’s first salinity-resilient wheat product. Further research will address drought tolerance and nitrogen-use efficiency.
The Swedish company works with seed producers to bring resilience traits into commercial cereal varieties. The new round follows a separate €2.5 million pre-seed in 2024, taking cumulative funding to approximately €7.5 million.
