Nous Research raises $90M for a business edition of Hermes
Open-source AI models and the Hermes agent, which retains project memory and reusable skills across tasks.
Nous plans to carry Hermes’ user-controlled model and deployment choices into a product for companies. Its funding announcement describes a business edition intended to preserve institutional knowledge and let teams choose models according to the work and cost.
The expansion builds on an MIT-licensed agent released in February. Persistent memory and reusable skills are the foundation of the product; the business offering is being developed to bring that approach into organisational workflows.
