NG.CASH secures $15m strategic investment to expand credit access in Brazil
Blockchain Capital is backing the Brazilian financial app’s plans to broaden credit and add digital-asset services for its growing user base.
Building beyond payments
NG.CASH’s mobile account brings together electronic money, Pix transfers, bill payments, a prepaid Mastercard and savings tools. The app also lets customers initiate some Pix tasks through WhatsApp messages, photos or audio, placing common account actions in a channel many already use.
Blockchain Capital led the $15m strategic investment announced on September 23. NG.CASH says it will use the capital to widen credit and financial access in Brazil, including expanding credit products and moving into digital assets. The company describes the transaction as a strategic investment; it did not announce a formal funding series.
NG.CASH says it serves more than 10 million accounts and is authorized by Brazil’s Central Bank as a payment institution. The investment points to an expansion from payments into a broader financial offering, while the account, Pix and prepaid-card services remain the operating foundation for that work.
