Moonshot AI closed a $3.5 billion financing at a $35 billion valuation, Bloomberg reported on July 29, citing people familiar with the transaction. The National Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund was among the lead investors.
The Beijing company develops the Kimi family of AI models. The financing followed the introduction of Kimi K3 and exceeded the amount the company had initially sought.
