MHX Technology signs RMB1.625bn financing for Li Auto’s chip business
Li Auto commits RMB1bn alongside external investors as its chip subsidiary prepares to serve a wider industrial customer base.
A dedicated platform for external customers
MHX Technology’s first equity financing agreement adds outside investors to a business developed within Li Auto. Hangzhou Jingtao, Lanchi Ventures and Huaye Tiancheng lead the external investment, with MiraclePlus participating. Their combined commitment is RMB625m; the remaining RMB1bn comes from Li Auto through a wholly owned subsidiary.
The deal also grants a Hangzhou Jingtao investor an option to subscribe for up to another RMB500m by the end of 2026. That optional capital is separate from the signed financing. Completion remains subject to closing conditions, and Li Auto expects to retain control of the business.
