Metris Energy raises seed round to turn renewable-asset data into operations
Metris links energy-asset systems in one operating record and is adding AI tools to help renewable teams move from portfolio analysis to action.
A shared record for a fragmented portfolio
Renewable operators often manage asset, meter, SCADA, GIS and market information across disconnected systems. Metris brings those records together in a live data layer, giving teams a common basis for monitoring performance, managing revenue and coordinating operations across a portfolio.
Metria AI adds a natural-language interface and agents intended to handle work that teams have managed manually. Alongside monitoring and reporting, the platform includes revenue operations and an operations-and-maintenance hub for alarms, tickets and automations. The company says its platform already manages more than 10,000 solar plants representing 500 MW.
Extending beyond solar
The new seed capital will support expansion into wind and combined heat and power systems, development of AI capabilities and growth across Europe, particularly Germany. That broadens the platform’s target asset base while advancing the company’s bet that a unified operational record can support more automated work across energy portfolios.
