Maxinsights raises $30m seed round for robotics training data
Peak XV Partners leads the financing as Maxinsights introduces tools for collecting video, touch and force data.
Maxinsights announced $30 million in seed funding on 22 October. Peak XV Partners led the round, joined by Tola Capital, South Park Commons, INCE Capital and Alumni Ventures.
The company records real human activity and processes it into datasets for robotics models. It also introduced MaxLoop, which checks footage quality during collection, and MaxGlove, a sensor glove developed with Genesis AI to capture touch and force.
Maxinsights says it has collected more than two million hours of footage, with 1.5 million hours ready for model training.
