Marel Power Solutions receives $1.9m Michigan manufacturing grant
The Michigan Supplier Conversion Grant will equip the company to build power stacks at pilot scale in the state.
Power-conversion building blocks for electrified systems
Marel Power develops configurable power stacks, the building blocks inside inverters and converters that move energy between AC and DC. The platform is aimed first at electric vehicles, including traction inverters, battery disconnect units and onboard chargers, with potential applications in charging infrastructure, defense and data centers.
The $1.9 million grant will provide equipment for pilot-scale manufacturing in Michigan, helping the company move from platform development toward production testing.
