A power-electronics company that makes compact modules and power stacks for converters, inverters and other high-power systems.
Marel integrates semiconductor packaging and cooling into modular power-conversion building blocks. Its power modules and stacks sit inside converters, inverters, breakers and other high-power systems, where they are designed to reduce size, weight and component count while managing heat.
System builders can use Marel's silicon- and silicon-carbide-compatible modules across electric-vehicle propulsion and charging, commercial vehicles, defense platforms and data centers. The modular approach allows a power stack to be reused across vehicle classes and power levels instead of engineering each converter as a bespoke design.
