MAASH secures €12.15m for mycoprotein industrialisation
The financing brings food-industry shareholders into MAASH as it moves from project preparation toward commercial deployment.
Industrial partners join the next phase
The package combines €5.85m in equity, €4.3m of public support and a €2m Bpifrance loan. Among the new shareholders, Tereos will contribute fermentation substrates and industrial expertise, linking the financing to the practical requirements of making LoCylia at scale.
MAASH also announced that Samah Garringer would become CEO in September 2026. Her background spans food ingredients and industrial scale-up, including roles at DSM, Avril and ENOUGH Foods. Co-founder Gaspard Gilbert will focus on commercial relationships and strategic partnerships while temporarily retaining finance responsibilities.
