The Spanish startup plans to recruit technical staff, develop new assistant features and enter more markets, including the United States. At the time of the financing, it reported almost 17 million users worldwide, six months after launch.
Luzia made generative AI functions available through WhatsApp and Telegram, allowing users to ask questions, translate text, transcribe voice messages and generate images. The product initially concentrated on Spanish and Portuguese-speaking consumers.
