LatentVerse secures Seed funding for embodied foundation models

GL Ventures, Crystal Stream and robotics companies join the Beijing startup’s investors.

LatentVerse announced a Seed round on August 11 with investment from GL Ventures, Crystal Stream, Inno Angel Fund, Agibot and Robotera. The amount was described as several hundred million renminbi.

The company is developing an embodied foundation model that unifies visual understanding, prediction and action with tactile feedback. Its research targets the gap between learning from video and controlling robots during physical interaction.
