Known announces $9.7 million seed for voice-led dating
The dating service emerged from stealth in December 2025 with backing from Forerunner, NFX, Pear VC and Coelius Capital.
Known disclosed its seed financing as it prepared to launch a service focused on introductions that lead to real dates. Founder Celeste Amadon named four institutional backers alongside unnamed angel investors.
The capital was intended to scale the product, improve matching technology and expand the team. Amadon described a business built to succeed when users find a relationship and leave, connecting the launch to a different set of incentives from prolonged swiping.
