Connecting the order with the payment

During busy service, staff can lose time moving between a till and a separate payment terminal, entering the amount again. Klearly links these systems and supports payment acceptance on existing hardware. Operators can introduce the payment service without replacing their restaurant software.

Expanding beyond the Netherlands

PayPal Ventures led the €12 million round. The company reported more than 4,000 hospitality merchants in the Netherlands and plans to expand in Italy and Belgium through local sales teams and point-of-sale partnerships. Funding will also grow its engineering, operations and commercial teams.

Where the funding goes

  • Expansion in Italy and Belgium
  • Product development and POS partnerships
  • Engineering, operations and commercial team growth
