A feedback loop between models and chips

Ricursive’s platform is intended to use AI to design silicon that then supports more capable AI systems. Founders Anna Goldie and Azalia Mirhoseini previously co-created AlphaChip, an AI approach to chip layout adopted across multiple generations of Google’s TPUs.

Building the next design platform

The Series A values Ricursive at $4 billion. Funding supports work across the semiconductor design stack and faster iteration using additional compute; the announcement describes a platform under development.
