JCCL advances Series B financing for CO₂ capture rollout
The Kyushu University spinout is commercializing solid-absorbent and membrane systems designed to capture carbon dioxide with lower energy use.
Using waste heat to regenerate a carbon-capture material
JCCL's solid-absorbent process captures CO₂ in an amine-containing gel and releases it with reduced pressure and steam at around 40–60°C, allowing industrial waste heat to supply part of the energy. The company is also developing membrane separation for combustion exhaust. Its work combines materials with equipment and process design, and includes field validation and industrial partnerships.
