Jaipur Robotics raises €4.3m seed for waste-plant computer vision
The Swiss startup’s cameras and vision software help waste-to-energy operators detect hazards and stabilize processing.
Visual signals for waste-plant operators
Jaipur Robotics uses computer vision in waste-to-energy facilities to identify oversized or dangerous objects in waste bunkers and unloading areas. Its system also maps the waste stream’s heating value in real time, helping crane operators mix incoming material for more stable combustion and giving plant teams earlier warning of operational hazards.
The €4.3 million seed round will expand the company’s computer-vision and automation technology for waste-to-energy and other industrial plants. By turning camera feeds into safety and process-control signals, Jaipur Robotics targets costly disruptions as well as the day-to-day decisions operators make about incoming material.
