IZANA raises approximately ¥100m for magnetic sensing
Beyond Next Ventures Fund III is backing the move from magnetic-sensor research toward field-ready systems.
Defence work provides a testing opportunity
The financing follows a September contract with Japan’s Ministry of Defense to validate magnetic detection and tracking operations. That work gives IZANA an opportunity to test its systems against practical requirements beyond the laboratory.
Building the business around the technology
Beyond Next Ventures president Tsuyoshi Ito will join the board. Alongside capital, the relationship brings support for commercialisation and organisation-building as IZANA develops products for defence and marine infrastructure.
