Ionage raises $1.3m to connect more EV charging networks in India
The pre-Series A financing will support charger discovery, cross-network payments and management tools for smaller charging operators.
Making separate networks work together
Ionage aims to extend its software to all active charging networks in India. Its approach connects charging providers and drivers through shared discovery and payment functions, while giving smaller operators tools to manage station activity.
The company reported more than 25,000 four-wheeler charge points and over 75 charging partners at the announcement. Strategic investors and executives from energy and infrastructure companies led the financing; their names were not disclosed. The expansion builds on an existing partner network rather than relying solely on new charging installations.
