ID Finance secures €545m in debt and equity for Plazo
The package combines €500m of structured debt from i80 Group with €45m of equity, according to company sources cited by La Vanguardia.
A larger credit facility alongside new equity
The financing deepens ID Finance’s relationship with i80, which provided a $150 million debt facility in 2024. The new package funds the next phase of Plazo, while the equity component adds capital alongside the much larger lending facility.
ID Finance says Plazo reached profitability in 2025 and passed 400,000 users. Its recently launched Turrón service adds instalment purchases to an account and debit card, extending the app’s role from borrowing to everyday payments.
