Wastewater carbon to renewable methanol

ICODOS’s VICTORIA project was selected in the European Commission’s October 19, 2026 Innovation Fund announcement. It is entering grant-agreement preparation; the individual grant amount was not disclosed.

VICTORIA plans an e-methanol installation at the Copero wastewater-treatment facility in Seville. ICODOS integrates carbon capture with hydrogen and methanol production, offering a route from biogenic emissions to fuel and chemical feedstock.
