HONESTIES wins JPY2m grant for accessible clothing research
Ikeda Senshu Bank’s award supports new garments and materials that simplify dressing in care and medical settings.
HONESTIES has received a JPY2 million excellence award in Ikeda Senshu Bank’s 22nd Innovation Research and Development Grant programme, announced on March 2.
The selected project develops accessible clothing and new materials for care and medical settings. The bank names Shinshu University as the collaborating institution.
HONESTIES designs underwear that can be worn inside out or front to back, reducing the need to check garment orientation. The research builds on that approach to make dressing and undressing easier for wearers and carers.
