GX MINERALS raises about ¥460m in Series A++ equity and debt
The materials company has begun commercial production at Tahara and is developing higher-value uses for its engineered talc.
A factory behind the next product phase
The Tahara plant entered commercial operation in July 2026, giving GX MINERALS stated annual capacity of approximately 10,000 tonnes. The company now has a production base for supplying resin manufacturers while developing specialty materials.
Its DIA filler consists of talc platelets engineered to be thin relative to their width. This shape helps reinforce resin composites, with potential applications extending from lighter automotive parts to heat resistance and control of gas permeability.
NEX-T Tokai Innovation Fund, Okazaki Shinkin Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking are among the financing providers. The company also reported three unnamed individual and corporate participants.
