GX MINERALS
Japan · Industrial tech
GX MINERALS produces engineered talc fillers that help manufacturers adjust the strength, weight and other properties of resin-based materials.
Thin mineral platelets inside a composite
The company’s DIA filler uses talc processed into thin, broad platelets. Mixed into resin, these particles can improve stiffness while supporting lighter components; the company designs grades around the requirements of each application.
Beyond automotive resin reinforcement, GX MINERALS is developing applications involving heat resistance, material-shape control and gas permeability. Its work spans the mineral filler itself and resin materials incorporating it.
From formulation to repeatable supply
GX MINERALS develops, manufactures and sells its materials from Aichi, Japan. Its Tahara factory began commercial operation in July 2026, with stated production capacity of approximately 10,000 tonnes a year.
The business is building evaluation and quality-assurance capabilities alongside specialty grades for advanced functional materials. Consistent material properties are central to supplying manufacturers repeatedly at production scale.
