Group14 closes $463 million Series D led by SK
The battery materials company will scale production in the United States and South Korea.
Group14 Technologies closed a $463 million Series D announced on August 20, 2025. SK led the financing, with participation from Porsche Investments, ATL, OMERS, Decarbonization Partners, Lightrock Climate Impact Fund and Microsoft Climate Innovation Fund.
The company will use the capital to expand production of SCC55 silicon battery material in the United States and South Korea. It also acquired the remaining stake in its Korean manufacturing joint venture, taking full ownership of the facility.
