Gravity Gardens raises a €2.6 million seed round for dry seed activation
The technology aims to improve crop establishment without a wet coating or chemical treatment.
Seed preparation without a coating
Gravity Gardens’ dry activation process is designed to strengthen early crop establishment without adding water, chemicals or a coating to the seed. That could offer seed producers a way to pursue more resilient emergence while avoiding treatment steps that may be expensive or specific to one crop.
The company reports external trials across several crops, including a validation programme with Vertify. Its development work is aimed at moving the process toward industrial-scale equipment and wider field evaluation before commercial readiness, which the company targets for 2027.
