FirstMark Capital and Eurazeo led the December 2025 financing as the Paris startup launched its voice AI platform.
Gradium launched on December 2, 2025, with a $70 million Seed round led by FirstMark Capital and Eurazeo. Participants included DST Global Partners, Eric Schmidt, Xavier Niel, Rodolphe Saadé, Korelya Capital and Amplify Partners.
The company builds audio models that developers can use for speech recognition and expressive voice generation. Its initial platform supported English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese, targeting applications including voice agents, customer service and language learning.
Founded in September 2025 by Neil Zeghidour, Laurent Mazaré, Olivier Teboul and Alexandre Défossez, Gradium grew out of the team behind AI research lab Kyutai. The financing supports development of its voice models and commercial platform.
