Ganiga discloses €1m in Smart&Start Italia support
The public financing adds to the Italian waste technology company’s resources alongside its separate €1.5 million equity round.
Ganiga reported €1 million in support through Smart&Start Italia, the startup financing programme managed by Invitalia, in its October 20, 2026 financing announcement. This was previously secured public support; the announcement did not specify its original award date or repayment terms.
Together with a separate €1.5 million equity round led by Vivenda, the support brings the resources described in the announcement to €2.5 million. The company is expanding HooolyFood, which helps catering operators turn information about discarded food into purchasing and menu decisions.
