Ganiga announces NextSTEP pre-seed backing
NextSTEP backed the Italian smart-bin startup in a pre-seed financing announced in November 2023.
Ganiga announced pre-seed backing from NextSTEP on November 21, 2023. Founder Nicolas Lorenzo Zeoli shared the news in a public post thanking the investor for its support.
The announcement did not disclose the investment amount, valuation or financing terms. NextSTEP’s portfolio also identifies Ganiga as a 2023 pre-seed investment.
Automating waste sorting
Ganiga develops Hoooly smart bins that use artificial intelligence to recognize and sort waste. The system also collects data to help organizations improve recycling and manage waste collection.
