Ganiga raises €1.5m in equity led by catering group Vivenda
NextSTEP and three angel investors also backed the Italian waste-management technology company.
The round brings Ganiga’s funding to €2.5 million including €1 million previously secured through Smart&Start Italia. The new equity will support product and team growth, beginning with expansion in contract catering alongside Vivenda.
Ganiga says its HooolyFood monitoring technology is used in operations serving more than 30,000 meals a day. That installed base gives the company a route into wider foodservice markets, including event catering and hotels.
