Uber invests in Galgo to expand motorcycle financing
The partnership starts in Mexico, with Chile and Colombia planned for early 2027.
Uber’s investment will help Galgo develop credit products for drivers and delivery partners, expand into more markets and strengthen its technology and data capabilities. The investment amount was not disclosed.
Access to a motorcycle can determine whether a driver can earn through delivery and ride-hailing platforms. The partnership combines Uber’s driver network with Galgo’s credit assessment and dealer relationships to reach borrowers with limited access to conventional lending.
