Fosterli receives £60,000 BGV programme investment
Fosterli received BGV programme backing for software supporting foster carer recruitment, assessment and preparation.
Fosterli joined Bethnal Green Ventures’ Spring 2025 Tech for Good cohort, announced on 24 March 2025. The programme offered a £60,000 investment to each selected business.
Rasheda Fry was building tools to improve foster carer recruitment and assessment, with preparation and support intended to help carers stay in the role.
The aim was to make assessment more useful for applicants and social workers while strengthening the preparation carers receive. The approach connected recruitment with the support needed to keep carers in fostering.
